End of DP
How do you feel about DP coming to an end?

It was a great ride and certainly had some of the most creative episodes in recent years (and great episode arcs and plotlines!). I grew to love Hikari/Dawn and it'll be sad to see her go, for some of us, at least...

Which was your favourite DP-specific character? Shinji/Paul? Hikari/Dawn? Or even someone obsecure like Mai, Kouhei/Conway (creepy stalker otaku for the win!), or Urara/Ursula?

What did you like? What didn't you like? ^^

Or just, in general, how do you feel about this saga coming to a close?

In closing, the final DP ending song.

I'm gonna miss Dawn a whole helluva lot but her career can only get better.

I'm glad Paul is finally going to be GONE FOREVERRR

DAWN LOVE~ ♥

She is so much love. ♥

Yeah, that's what happened with her predecessors.

I hated, absolutely hated, how they ended the Galactic arc. That shouldn't happen. Period. Cyrus had said flat out that he wouldn't "go off somewhere alone", and yet that's exactly what the writers had him do. I know games=/=anime, but there has to be a standard.

I just hated the final conclusion.
They shouldn't have have Satoshi beaten like this. I mean, he never had a better team then in the DP Arc and yet they wanted him to go on... And now? They created some generetic mysterious guy with a bunch of legendarys, so Satoshi couldn't win...
And now? They completely rebooted everything or what?

Personally, I loved it, but I can see why you'd be upset. ^^; I especially loved the final episode's scene where Satoshi imagines himself taking on Shirona. EPIC.

I like that Satoshi loses everytime, but still gets closer to winning. I don't know, I think at the rate he's going, he should win one very soon.

Nope, they do this every series. xD; AG and DP too!

It's just to make it more interesting; never mind how it'll be resolved later on and he'll be back to his former strength. I mean, if he was at the same strength at the beginning of every region, he'd plow through most of the Gym Leaders without breaking a sweat and it would make for a horrendously boring series with very few exciting battles.

They'll weaken him and/or Pikachu at the start through one deus ex machina or another and have him regain his strength.

For me they went to far this time.
If it had been at least a normal battle with a normal other trainer... A good written Battle with tension and everything: Okay. But this was only a bad joke. I mean, legendaries? Honestly? They just wanted to get over with it very quick... After such a great season I would have expected more.
Plus they kinda promised during the whole season that we will definitely see Satoshi fighting with Shirona - but that never happened.
And, to be honest, they never beat down Satoshi that much. I mean, sorry, but he never had so many problems to capture his first pokemon of the new region... >.<"

Shirona keeps showing up, even in Jouto and Isshu.

I think it's safe to say, especially with that fantasy sequence at the END OF DP, that Satoshi will most likely face her someday.

We just don't know when. ^^;
